Description cazzantonio 2006-10-06 04:12:27 UTC
Openchrome are a fork of the unichrome project that aims at giving hardware mpeg acceleration to via unichrome cards (unichrome don't support this) and a lot of other features.
Currently I think theese are the only drivers supporting via unichrome pro cards (but I didn't tested unstable versione of x11-drivers/xf86-video-via (unichrome) ones).
It would be nice to have them in portage since unichrome ones are already there (x11-drivers/xf86-video-via)
this is the link of the project:

I didn't really want to make a bug report... I only wanted to bring to your attention this drivers and this was the only place I could do this so sorry for bothering you.
