Bug 15020 – package 'Glitter' is broken and has no 'help'

Glitter:

   has no help available.
   is apparently broken at line '142' in 'gary'.

The attached file is a tar zip of 4 pngs demonstrating what I mean.

re-emerge glitter

i got the help file:
>>> /usr/share/gnome/help/glitter/C/glitter.html

the reason you cant `emerge gary aub` is because gary is just a modification of aub, and glitter installs gary ...

this is probably just a perl problem

Will do so at first opportunity. Currently updating machine(s) with gcc-3.2.2-pre etc. I'll try to get to this by Sat latest. ;-p

I re-merged glitter. I'm getting the same (nonfunctional) results.

Suggestions?

mike: when attempting to download, perl returns this error: 
IO::Handle::setvbuf not implemented on this architecture at /usr/bin/gary line 142
