since compiz, which is already included, has been forked and some people prefer the other version, it would be nice to have it included too, please :-)

We're already working on this, expect them in 1-2 days (or come in #gentoo-xgl to join us).

Have been using beryl-manager for a while and has worked for me. Will take this next weekend if no-one beats me to it.

Go go gadget tree-ness. You should be able to install it in a few hours once it hits the mirrors. I just added it with Alex Heck's help ^.^;;

a lot of thanks :-)

it installs flawlessly, it starts flawlessly, so your work as distributor is ok but the rest ... it is soooo slow and buggy, it crashes here and there :-(
(on i915 - gonna try it on GeForce2 and Radeon7500 soon)
