There are no ebook readers available on Gentoo.  rbmake is not an ebook reader but does have libraries for accessing the Rocket Ebook format.  There is no current ebuild rbmake.  I suggest app-text/rbmake.

1/ src_compile is the default and so redundant - see http://devmanual.gentoo.org/ebuild-writing/functions/src_compile/index.html
2/ Sure it has no dependencies?

modified ebuild to include dependencies and remove src_compile

The only version I'm certain of is libxml2, as that is in the Changelog.  libwww only has version 5.4.0, while libpcre has multiple versions and may work just fine with 4.5 or may need 6.6.

Upstream is dead and the package doesn't build.
