$ kmail
kmail: /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/3.4.4/libstdc++.so.6: version `CXXABI_1.3.1' not found (required by /usr/kde/3.5/lib64/libkhtml.so.4)

Previously I had followed the Gentoo guide to upgrading GCC from 3.4.4-r1 to 4.1.1-r1, then run env-update and revdep-rebuild (which found nothing to do) and rebooted.

Not sure what to check next, so I'm currently remerging kdelibs and kmail.
