in order to compile strigi desktop search some files in clucene must be patched. An ebuild for strigi can be found in bug #147553
This is the original ebuild for clucene-0.9.15 with strigi useflag
The patch includes all changes for streambase.h, bufferedstream.h and inputstreambuffer.h

Seems to be in svn trunk for clucene-0.9.16
Don't know when this will be released, though.

0.9.16 now in portage (testing branch)
