Description Richard Scott 2006-09-22 06:22:51 UTC
Catalyst2 by default now only seems to install with foldernames of catalyst and not catalyst2 as the RC's had :-(

Some files in the /usr/lib/gnap/gnap-specs.tar.bz2 file reference catalyst2 rather than just catalyst i.e. common.conf and livecd.conf.

I've changed the following:

--common.conf
CATALYST_NAME='catalyst2'
is now:
CATALYST_NAME='catalyst'

--livecd.conf
livecd/cdtar: /usr/lib/catalyst2/livecd/cdtar/isolinux-3.09-cdtar.tar.bz2
is now:
livecd/cdtar: /usr/lib/catalyst/livecd/cdtar/isolinux-3.09-cdtar.tar.bz2

I hope this helps :-)

Many thanks tho for your excellent hard work on GNAP is its excellent!

You apply these changes when you create a new "specs" directory. I.E. myspecs/common.conf and myspecs/livecd.conf. If you are creating a "specs tarball," preform this step before taring the files.

This will allow you to use gnap_make without waiting on a fix.

The GNAP project has been discontinued, its removal was acknowledged by steev.

If you need to, you can contact the Gentoo Embedded project; more information about the Gentoo Embedded project can be found on the following link:

http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/embedded/

This removal happens as part of project cleanup by the Gentoo Council's members.
