I can build OOo with a ppc-profile, but as soon as I use a G3-profile, it fails with

(blame Bugzilla, I had to snip the error here and attach it)

I found some other bugs with the create_services_rdb-problem, but all are for older versions and are closed now.

emerge --info

I'm building on the ppc64 buildhost, so the emerge --info tells you, that this is a ppc64-machine.  But CHOST in a chroot takes care for building as a ppc32.

Actually you seem to have missed one ;)

Please add your comments how you built it sucessfully there, so that we can add the obviously necessary arch-filtering
