Description Stefan de Konink 2006-09-20 15:43:24 UTC
I was trying a good ol' emerge -e world. And I stranded on the second merge. But I'm thankful for the development envirionment is again working :) The prayer from gentoo-portage.com helped a lot ;)

USE="x86 ..."

^^^ Cough...
Comment 2 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-20 16:01:56 UTC
Additionally:

CFLAGS="-march=k8 -O3 -pipe"
CXXFLAGS="-O2 -mcpu=i686 -pipe"

Huh, what are you attempting there? Closing.

Comment 3 Stefan de Konink 2006-09-20 16:06:41 UTC
(Yes... that was wrong, so I broke a complete system by updating from amd64/2005.1 to x86/2006.1)

That clarifies a lot.
