'encode' is described in use.desc as pertaining only to mp3 (audio onl) encoding. We seem to be lacking in use flags lately. This may be better left alone until after the feeze, when we might consider some solution beyond adding more use flags. I also would like to see this option. I love k3b as a burner, but as a video encoding front end it really isn't worthwhile. I suppose I can get by just manually disabling transcode support in the ebuild for now, but I would like to see this taken care of soon.... Committing a new rev of k3b that makes the dep on transcode dependant on use flag dvd (it seems more relevant than encode...) and moves it to RDEPEND, anyway. |
