So try it and reopen if it works. Works for me - just sent several megs from an x86 to ym amd64 box without problems or file corruption. there's a missing dependency when executing fetchfile -I: sh: pgp: command not found %fetchfile-Fatalerror: pgp call failed : No such file or directory well.. you probably need pgp if you want pgp... Sorry, this is not what the initial bug report was about, please re-check both title and initial post. The question was whether net-misc/sendfile could be moved from ~amd64 to amd64, Christoph Mende just "hijacked" this entry. Well, I tested it, to see if it's stable - ran into that missing dep or whatever. BTW I do have gnupg-1.4.5 and gnupg-1.9.21 installed, tried to tell sendfile to use gpg instead of pgp which didn't work. And IMHO there shouldn't be any packages in a stable branch that are missing dependencies ;) (In reply to comment #6) > Well, I tested it, to see if it's stable - ran into that missing dep or > whatever. [...] And IMHO there shouldn't > be any packages in a stable branch that are missing dependencies ;) Full ACK, but this dependency problem is not amd64 specific - the dependency just isn't there, for none of the architectures... broken deps, no maintainer, sending to treeclaners Wonderful.
