And what's broken ? It seems to work fine for me with different locales. - ferdy Well, 1.5.13-r1 ebuild (probably 1.5.13 too) don't install .gmo file in /usr/share/locale, so mutt is NOT localized (no translations) It is definitely localized. And it installs .mo files under /usr/share/locale/xx/LC_MESSAGES This is not a bug unless something is really broken with your locale. - ferdy Sorry, a missunderstanding. It was not a bug in mutt. Till now I had LINGUAS unset, and portage installed all linguas, now with LINGUAS unset it installs none. One more correction: for some reason both emerge and ebuild (portage-2.1.1) set LINGUAS="" when it's unset, that is what causes this bug. Thats weird... it should install all locales in such case (IMHO of course). Please feel free to bug the portage folks :) - ferdy |
