Well, sendfile is enabled by default, you should bug upstream if it's broken. You can stick this into the ebuild and re-introduce the flag, should work. <snip> # sendfile needs to be explicitely disabled as well use sendfile || myconf="${myconf} --disable-sendfile" </snip> OK, reported it upstream: http://bugs.proftpd.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2838 Let's see if this is a proftpd bug or if it should behave like this...
