I doubt that any dev can reproduce that bug..... Obvious check would be re-emerging kdesktop or searching what is emerged badly, but actually gcc-4.1.1 is stable on x86 since 30 aug-2006 , can I suggest you to do the much feared update (following http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gcc-upgrading.xml step by step, no tricks!) that involves re-emerging the whole world, and see if the bug still apply? Thank you. Same problem with -r1? no. after upgrade to gcc-4.1.1 and "emerge -e system world" which ends today in the morning ;) it works. thanks fine |
