Hello!

I have a DVD device in my box and the following string in /etc/fstab

/dev/dvd /media/dvd  iso9660 ro,noauto,user,iocharset=koi8-r,mode=0444 0  0

When I insert a DVD video media into the device I can mount DVD making use the applet. Then when clicking on the applet I get menu with two items:

Play DVD
Umount DVD

When I select "Play" applet always crashes. 
Totem is installed in the system (1.4.2-r1)

This happens if and only if gnome-volume-manager is not intalled, which was my case.

The bug still exists for gnome 2.16

bug reported to upstream: here is the url http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=371488

Now we have to wait for a fix. Please add yourself to that bug so you can be aware of what's happening.
