Can you reproduce it, i.e. does it fail again at *exactly* the same place? If so, we need to preprocessed source as the message told you.

I emerged again 2 times bcouse you asked to know if is reproducible:

ok I just solved the compiling og glibc..this is what I did:

I inserted this to make.conf:

FEATURES="distcc"
CC="distcc gcc"
DISTCC_HOTS="ada ada"

to compile with help of my debian box "ada", 
When I started compiling, distcc server was off (if is on in teh bigining it will stop with an error...
I just turned it on a few before compiling "math" folder...

when passed the compiling of math folder i turned distcc server off and finished compiling well till the end.

then I run :
emerge -eav system 

an gcc and glibc was compiled again and with no problems....

What was the problem? I do not know.. but it must be from my base system..
