Hi there.

I just wondered, if the net-im/kopete ebuild may be abandoned? The latest version is 0.12.2.
But there is also a kde-base/kopete, which is version 3.5.4 and points to the same project page, has the same description, and so on.

My impression is, that kopete is now maintained in kde-base. So why is there still an ebuild in net-im? Could the latter be deleted?

No, it couldn't.
