The problem is very simple ;)
I set "Local version - append to kernel release" in my 2.6.17-r7 gentoo-sources kernel to "vAxtoo 1.0"

As you can see, it contains a blank beetween "o" and "1".

When emerging shfs, ebuild put shfs.ko in a new folder in /lib/modules/ named
"2.6.17-gentoo-r7vAxtoo" instead of "2.6.17-gentoo-r7vAxtoo1.0"

Is it a bug or is it forbiden to put a space in tha parameter?

Don't restrict bugs without any reason. Just leave the checkboxes alone.
