Hi Luis, Thank your for your bug report. Unfortunately, sci-libs/atlas is fairly old and not very well maintained by the sci-team any more. It should probably be removed from the tree rather sooner than later. If you need atlas/blas/cblas please emerge sci-libs/blas-atlas instead; if you need lapack then sci-libs/lapack-atlas. Since you are using gcc-4.1.1 you will have to use version 3.7.11. We are currently in the process of moving this version into the stable tree but x86 isn't done yet. Thanks, Markus Markus, I see.
