Description
Daniel Black (RETIRED)
![]() I have no access to that page and never have. As far as I know, Daniel was the only person to access it. Reassinging to him. Yes, it looks like someone grabbed it and is keeping it marginally out of/up to date. I recommend that releng create an official freshmeat account, at which point releng can request ownership of this project again. But you need to create an account first. The process is actually quite easy and should be pain-free with a @gentoo.org email. Assigning to releng. Looks like it was agreed on pr taking care (see bug #105446), but there's no pr@gentoo.org bugzilla account x-) Reassigning to you, then... ;] Christel told me there now *is* a pr@gentoo.org bugzilla account :) looks like pr@gentoo.org has ownership of the page. Just needs to be updated now. (In reply to comment #6) > looks like pr@gentoo.org has ownership of the page. Just needs to be updated > now. I attempted to recover the password of pr@gentoo.org but it said the email address was not registered, despite it being listed at http://freshmeat.net/~gentoo/ -- ideas? (In reply to comment #7) > I attempted to recover the password of pr@gentoo.org but it said the email > address was not registered, despite it being listed at > http://freshmeat.net/~gentoo/ -- ideas? try registering maybe http://freshmeat.net/register/ I contacted freshmeat.net support staff; http://help.freshmeat.net/discussions/problems/193-gentoo-project-not-owned-by-gentoo-foundation Waiting for a response. I received access to the account and updated it for the Gentoo 10.0 live DVD release plus added a screenshot; http://freshmeat.net/projects/gentoolinux It may take a day or two for it to be "approved" I need to add some more accounts to the "roles" as they call it. If you are registered on freshmeat please email me your information so I can add you to the account so I am not the only one able to edit the information. freshmeat -> freecode freecode -> 'Effective 2014-06-18 Freecode is no longer being updated (content may be stale).' |
