Description Max Dilay 2006-09-01 10:01:43 UTC
By default www-servers/resin configure script compile all binaries as 32-bit's and append -melf_i386 to LDFLAGS. But 32-bit's bin's can't link's with 64bit so www-servers/resin can't compile :(

Good that you didn't post version, any errors or emerge --info. Helps a lot with fixing the issue...

 * checking resin-3.0.21-src.tar.gz ;-) ...                               [ ok ]
 * Your CXXFLAGS contains "-fvisibility-inlines-hidden" which can break packages.
 *
 * Before you file a bug, please remove these flags and
 * re-compile the package in question as well as all its dependencies

 * Using: gcj-jdk-4.1

It would be a good to start to mention that you are using the *experimental* gcj-overlay.
