I have rsync'ed and am still recieving the same error emerge -pu world --deep does this print any compiler releated or diffutils thing to update `? OK, after much digging, I found out what the problem was. I had put this line in my .bash_profile: export TMPDIR="$HOME/.tmp" So, anything that was attempted to emerge (just happened to be postfix 2) could not. Once this line was commented out, It emerged just fine. reopen closes as invalid |
