openal-0.0.8 contains a bug when short sample is played. See http://opensource.creative.com/pipermail/openal-devel/2006-August/004553.html message in openal mailing list for details and patches. 

The bug affects games-strategy/warzone2100.

This also causes crash in games-sports/torcs.
Please fix it ASAP.
