Description stardub 2006-08-25 01:29:05 UTC
hi there,

i can't find any reason for the hardcoded '--without-musicbrainz'-flag.

according to this thread: http://www.gentooforum.de/thread.php?threadid=11049 (german), i've modified the current amarok-ebuild (from testing) for use with musicbrainz. and, it works.

cheers

Please don't attach ebuilds in tar files. Files should be attached individually.

Regardless, this won't go back, see Bug 140184.

But 1.4.2 (not yet in portage) supports tunepimp 5, which does not have the security problem in bug 140184. So could the decision not to include musicbrainz support possibly be reconsidered when 1.4.2 is added to portage?
