Description Alexander Polakov 2006-08-24 09:11:51 UTC
I installed gentoo 2006.0 with gtk+-2.8.8; cairo-1.0.2; glib-2.8.5; pango 1.10.3. Everything went fine but... then I upgraded to
gtk-2.8.19(or 20); cairo-1.0.4; glib-2.10.3, pango-1.12.3
The result is on the screenies... first one is when I do nothing (for ex. window just appeared), the second is
when I pass the mouse over it. It's with any gtk app. I'm not using gnome, that's my ~/.gtkrc-2.0
include "/home/polachok/.themes/dwergo"

style "user-font" {
font_name = "snap 12"
}

widget_class "*" style "user-font"

gtk-font-name="snap 12"

It happens only when using fixed width X11 fonts not TTF.

Humm it feels like the problem is with the graphics drivers. What gfx card/driver are you using?

Marking as NEEDINFO. Please reopen after providing the requested information.
I believe older nvidia drivers might have had a similar problem like this, but not sure.
