Re-emerge ing blackdown jdk afte rinstalling sun-jre removes the following link:

tfoerste@n22 ~/workspace $ ll /usr/lib/nsbrowser/plugins/*java*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 62 Aug 24 11:49 /usr/lib/nsbrowser/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so -> /opt/sun-jre-bin-1.5.0.06/plugin/i386/ns7/

Ok, this links pointed before the Sun JRE installation to blackdown, but after that to Sun JRE, so re-emerging any package shouldn't remove a symlink pointing to a differetn file.
