The 'deprecated' file in a profile (if existant) has to start with the name of another profile on the first line, not with explanatory the message text.
The following profiles break that rule:

default-linux/amd64/2006.1/deprecated
default-linux/mips/cobalt/2006.0/deprecated
default-linux/mips/mips64/n32/2006.0/deprecated
default-linux/mips/mips64/ip28/2006.0/deprecated
default-linux/mips/mips64/2006.0/deprecated
default-linux/mips/2006.0/deprecated

default-linux/amd64/2006.1/deprecated is fixed now. It will be removed $soon anyway.
