No. For one, the release is already done. Second, we do not use xorg-server 1.1.1 in the release, so the point is 100% moot. The release is a *snapshot* of a particular state in time. At that time, it was the older headers and xorg-server 1.1.0 stable. When the user does their first "emerge --sync" they should get both newer headers and also a newer xorg-server (if it, too, is stable)... if xorg-server requires the newer headers, it simply needs to state as much in its dependencies. ok. thanks for the info. closing. |
