while I emerge >=baselayout-1.12.4, I found it lost /etc/init.d/domainname which is needed by /etc/init.d/ypserv. Also the lastest start-stop-daemon maybe has some mistake because my /etc/init.d/courier-pop3d-ssl ( courier-imapd-ssl) can't start correctly.

If I degrade to baselayout-1.11.15-r3, there are no problem to start/stop yperv, courier-pop3d-ssl, courier-imapd-ssl.

dont check the boxes if you dont know what they're for

as for domainname: search bugzilla, it's integrated into /etc/conf.d/net

as for courier: search bugzilla, there's a bug open about it with plenty of dupes
