Please, use description to post bug description, not bug summary as it's completely unreadable. Repasting below. --- <snip> During emerge --update world (sync as of today) compiling ebuilds against fontconfig-2.3.2-r1 fails with error message "/usr/lib/libfontconfig.so.1: undefined reference to `ft_mem_alloc'" (which seems to be defined in libfontconfig now, overwriting the libfreetype functions). Failed packages are e.g. pango with cairo support or xplanet. Masking fontconfig-2.3.2-r1 (using fontconfig-2.2.3) seems to work for now. </snip> Reopen if you have issues w/ fontconfig-2.4.2 which is current stable. |
