masked in package.mask and pending removal on September 15th, 2006 media-sound/mpd also is crashing on .au files. see /var/log/mpd.error.log for details. This is not a dump space for stuff that crashes on playing .au files ;) I cannot play the .au file with alsaplayer even after patching with debian's patchset, it doesn't segfault but it still produces noise instead of whatever it should do. Not sure about the destiny of alsaplayer just yet :/ Ask normalperson at #mpd at Freenode.net. He fixed a very similar bug in MusicPD last week involving .au files. While being fixed, it was mentioned the production of noise too. Punted |
