gimp pull down bug
I found out that these bugs seem to have different origons, see http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=159143 The gimp one is intended behaviour, albeit controversial: It does it so that the selected item is shown below the mouse pointer, while not making the popup bigger when it's scrolled down. I believe GTK+ upstream people would love to know a better way to approach this. Note that mouse pointer position changing without the user moving the mouse is considered very evil. is it worth keeping this open if it's only an upstream matter ? Well, there's certainly nothing we can do about it, without at least a patch. Marking this as upstream. FTR, this is a known issue upstream and I do believe they have plans to fix it (possibly as soon as the next major release of GTK+). |
