well xulrunner is in the tree for quite some time now (though masked - probably because there are no ebuilds, which use it currently) and I have almost all of the packages on my system built against it and I could say that it works very well.
Now I've applied some trivial changes to the ebuild to allow for the xulrunner-flag, but the upstream author somehow decided to split the gecko-plugin (aka firefox|seamonkey) and the xulrunner one. So in the end the both of them could be build together with the gtkhtml one. I'm unsure how this should be handled by the ebuild - in the moment it disables the xulrunner, if either firefox or seamonkey is selected, and similiarly disables seamonkey&firefox if xulrunner is selected.
The other way is to allow building the xulrunner plugin with the firefox|seamonkey one.
So the ebuild will follow shortly...
