the output tells me You must have XML::Parser installed to run ../../intltool-merge
and then the build crashes, but i have dev-perl/XML-Parser-2.34 installed on my system. what am i doing wrong?

i recompiled dev-perl/XML-Parser-2.34 and then it did work
