I could not emerge gnomesword-2.1.7 due to this bug:

I fixed it by patching src_unpack() with this line:

sed -i 's:ed->:ec->:g' ${S}/src/gnome2/commentary_dialog.c

Patch now in portage, and thank you muchly for informing the upstream devs!
