i'm starting to write ebuild packages to all Zend Products (i work there)
so i've started with Zend Optimizer. 

the ebuild installs all versions of the module to the system (both php4 and php5 versions). Zend Optimizer comes with Zend Extension manager, and that manager chooses which module to load accoring to the current system's php version.
