LINGUAS=""
Further test shows that LINGUAS="en fr zh_CN vi el de en_US" is correctly emerged. I guess therefore that the problem comes from the chinese language (LINGUAS="zh_CN") (In reply to comment #3) > Further test shows that LINGUAS="en fr zh_CN vi el de en_US" is correctly > emerged. > > I guess therefore that the problem comes from the chinese language > (LINGUAS="zh_CN") > Don't quite get this. Why do you think zh_CN is the culprit if the emerge worked for you with this LINGUAS-setting above? (In reply to comment #4) > > Don't quite get this. Why do you think zh_CN is the culprit if the emerge > worked for you with this LINGUAS-setting above? Sorry, I've cut'n pasted the wrong string... The LINGUAS-setting which works is LINGUAS="en fr vi el de en_US". (everything but zh_CN) Now, everything works fine. I don't understand why, but it means it's time for me to close this bug. Sorry for the noise. Bug disappeared magically, case closed. |
