Oh well, recompiling openssl + openssh to see if it helps... I had this same problem on a different ebuild... need to do some sed magic and replace -ldes with -ldes425 alright... so i take my last statement back... there is logic in configure for detecting -ldes425 already... i'll look into this kerberos stuff a little further... The ebuild is currently being updated... Here is the rundown of updates. app-crypt/heimdal is incompatible with openssl/openssh... they are "working on it" :) app-crypt/kth-krb is a compatible kerberos IV implementation... KTH_KRB="yes" to enable building kerberos IV support against it. app-crypt/krb5 installs both a kerberos IV and V implementation... Only the kerberos V implemenation is compatiable. USE="kerberos" to enable building kerberos V support against it. I have updated DEPEND accordingly as well. And that's all she wrote. :) The ebuild has been updated in portage. |
