Gnome fails to emerge cos totem fails to emerge.

gcc-3.3.6
V. 2006.0
kernel 2.6.16-gentoo-r12

I try emerge gnome without totem but it doesn't work.

could you post some more details about how totem fails? Have you tried looking through bugzilla for similar failures?

* The output from the emerge process when emerging totem
* The output from "emerge --info"
