Description Jon M. Hanson 2003-01-19 18:30:08 UTC
When trying to use Wine (20021031) and running an installer from a mounted CD,
all of the fonts in the window drawn by Wine come up as all hollow rectangles.
Standard fonts such as Times New Roman are installed and can be seen by KDE's
Control Panel.

I'm attaching the URL to the screenshot to show what I am talking about. The
screenshot is of trying to install Quicken through Wine off of the Quicken CD.

4.2.1-r2
Comment 4 Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-05-31 02:40:31 UTC
Jon, have you tried xfree-4.3.0-r2? And if so, does this problem persist?
Comment 5 Jon M. Hanson 2003-05-31 17:04:14 UTC
Well this happened on my wife's system but it no longer has Gentoo on it so I have no way of seeing if the new XFree fixes it or not.
