config.log
Is the link to config.log not sufficient? But of course i can attach it ...
Sorry, I completely missed the link. It's related to firefox. I have it built against 1.5.0.4, and am currently re-building it against 1.5.0.5. What version of firefox do you have installed? That might be a hint. I use 1.5.0.5, but mozilla-firefox-bin, because of the well-known problems with flash on AMD64-Linux. So it seems i should have a mozilla-firefox installed additionally? Is that possible without removing firefox-bin? Sure, I have them both, but if you are emerging epiphany with the firefox USE flag, then it already pulled in firefox as a dep. FWIW, I rebuild epi against firefox 1.5.0.5, and it built fine for me. Maybe a sync+rebuild of firefox would fix your problem? It might be broken, and you not know it, because you use firefox-bin. I tried it, and i now have mozilla-firefox 1.5.0.6 installed, and epiphany still fails. Now i tried it with USE="-firefox", and it worked, so it seems to be related to mozilla-firefox, but i can't say why. same here on a clean install, with www-client/mozilla-firefox-1.5.0.7 epiphany 2.16 is stable... it still happens the same ? Reopen if you have some news. |
