Bug 141607 – kde-base/knode-3.5.2 config dialog empty for non-root

Just emerged kde-base/knode-3.5.2 USE="arts -debug -kdeenablefinal -kdehiddenvisibility -xinerama".

At the first start the config dialog started is empty: The buttons on the bottom are there, and a thin white box is on left (where the icons would normaly be in). At the top (not the title) is written "Empty Page".
The same dialog is shown when selecting configure knode from the menu.

But:
Ran as root it works as expected!


Verified this on a second (similar) AMD64 system with gentoo as well...

After restarting X (kde) it works... normal?

No idea, what your problem was, unless you have updated from a previous KDE version and have had only the updated environment in your root shell. Works fine, here.
