and what if you don't use VNC ? direct login? XDMCP? remote X?

Ok, now I am at the machines place; When I directly use it, everything is correct. Maybe it's the combination of VNC & Gnome?
Comment 3 Rémi Cardona (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-07-24 05:47:24 UTC
Could you try with another remote tool? XDMCP (you can configure it in gdm) or plain remote X (using DISPLAY="remote_ip")

Are you using vino ? Can you try another VNC client/server combination ?
Comment 4 Robert Clark (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-05-12 08:11:57 UTC
Are you using transparent menus? If you are I suggest you try with the feature turned off.

Please, get back to use, see Comment #3 and Comment #4
