check the portage man page about /etc/portage/package.mask about masking certain packages that you don't like. in the mean time, can you be more specific about the problem, and what is raki syncing? is there anything that might help upstream developers with your problems like debug logs? or if you have reported this upstream, can you provide a link to the bug report? Trying to use multisynk like 0.9.1 versions just crashes. pstatus states: pstatus: Could not find configuration at path '(Default)' After downgrading the above libraries to the previous versions (and leaving the rest of synce at the 0.9.2) the system works as before the upgrade, (using multisynk to sync contacts, appointments, and such, raki for avantgo, and rapip) Let me know if there is further you need. The upstream folks on the ml, state the versions should be fine and suggest purging config files, this not able to solve the problem. I did some googleing and found some old info about syncekonnector stuff not being installed in the correct dir, but that should not effect rapip? # Alastair Tse <liquidx@gentoo.org> (27 Jul 2006) # Masking synce-0.9.2 because of breakages (#141466) (#141491) =app-pda/synce-0.9.2 =app-pda/synce-librapi2-0.9.2 =app-pda/synce-libsynce-0.9.2 Please remove this bitrot. mescalinum: this can be closed since 0.13 or 0.14 should be used by now :) Can <0.13 be removed from portage? 0.9.2 packages are gone |
