Hi, here is a fixed ebuild based on yours.
Three things that changed:
* DEPEND="${RDEPEND}" is used because the variables are the same here
* you don't need to use dodoc if you have a fixed set of files provided by the packages that is not dependent on any USE flags since gnome2 eclass takes care of it through DOCS variable
* you missed gnome-doc-utils buildtime dependency
Anyway, I would consider this applet interesting but it doesn't compile out of the box so for the moment it can't go in.
