I downloaded it from the link bellow: http://darkstar.ist.utl.pt/gentoo/releases/x86/current/livecd/livecd-i686-installer-2006.0.iso When booting with the "gentoo-nofb" (I press Alt+F1 to try to select another keyboard), it says: Loading gentoo.......................... Loading gentoo.igz............................. Ready. Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel. [dead] Nothing more happens and those messages stay in the screen with a blinking cursor... After several attempts, I finally discovered what was missing. The "noapic" was the trick. Sorry to have bothered you guys with this. You can close this one... Thanks :) Cool, thanks... |
