This might have something to do with my winbind users? I have 2 linux machines with this issue and both machines users are winbind users. I was a local account on the machine for backup which when I ran openoffice as that user it started up fine. Any help here would be appreciated. thanks I see you have nx installed. nx is known to use ugly hacks which may lead to segfaults in other programs which use libraries that nx is trying to overlap. I am pretty sure that if you deinstall nx and especially remove the NX entries in /etc/ld.so.conf and /etc/env.d/, openoffice will work again. In case it does not, please reopen this bug. |
