Here is an ebuild for libxml++ a C++ wrapper around libxml2. 
 
dev-libs/libxml++ seems to be the right category. 
 
This is the first in a series of new ebuilds to get kdenlive into gentoo

A newer libxml++ ebuild.

I needed this for kmymoney2 (will post shortly).  I wrote this ebuild myself
then found this bug.  This version also creates a symlink for the .a and .so
libraries as well as a correct license var.  It also uses mirror://sourceforge 
for SRC_URI instead of hard-coding a specific sf mirror.
