The installation hangs when trying to locate my SCSI controller:

LiveCD v1.4_rc2
Motherboard - Abit KR7A-133
SCSI Card - Adaptect 29160LP
SCSI Rom Version - 2.5XX

try booting with "gentoo noscsi"
then loading the proper module manually.

new aic drivers from adaptec on latest experimental cd.
lets see if it fixes this.
