Probably not applicable to final release since the media will probably change, but here is a patch that works with my version of coreutils and current ISO files.
Thanks for the report, but we won't fix this. The reason is we don't use coreutils, but instead use shash in catalyst. The reason for this is we support more than MD5/SHA1 in catalyst, so the output is the same as expected by shash. I'll be sure that this is mentioned in the Handbook(s), but the .DIGESTS files are definitely the way they are intended to be. Unfortunately, we haven't found a way to make it work with both shash *and* coreutils, since, as you can guess, somebody thought it would be a great idea to make the two sets of output/checks different. *** Bug 143155 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
